Day of Remembrance (DOR) Event
On this day (February 19th) in 1942, President FDR authorized Executive Order No. 9066 — leading to the mass internment of Japanese Americans. Attend our event to remember what our community faced during this terrible time in our history.
This event will be held at RICE University and is open to the public.
General Membership Meeting
Please mark your calendar to join us at 3 pm for our General membership meeting with guest speaker; Dr. Suzuki, a Rice professor who will discuss the Japanese language.
We look forward to seeing our members — new & long-standing.
